Braun Cinkassé Hospital is the only health center with a surgical department in the Cinkassé health district. This department is headed by a general surgeon. He works with a surgical technician and an anesthesia technician. This team is assisted by three experienced nurses and a patient attendant.

The HBC surgical department has:

• a surgical consultation room

• a well-equipped operating theatre

• an emergency room equipped with 5 intensive care beds, a defibrillator, a ventilator, multiparameter monitoring equipment and an oxygen concentrator

HBC has several mobile oxygen tanks used in operating rooms and wherever needed. A sterilization room with high-capacity autoclaves and surgical kits allows for the performance of various types of procedures.
